- I live in the small farming community of Stanwood, Washington. I worked eighteen years as a lunch lady at an elementary school. During that time, I also worked at a plant nursery. The last three years, I was annual buyer and greenhouse supervisor at Emery's Garden. I have four daughters, and four grandchildren, two horses (Ambush and Kelly), two miniature horses (Tuffy and Bucky), and I have a Jack-Russell Terrier named Sassy. I like to container garden, too. Since my birthday is on the cusp, I prefer the Scorpio sign. I was given that sign at birth. I feel I cannot upset my Karma.

What pretty pictures on your blog, we had a phone just like that on the farm where I grew up. Our phone number was 26f11, so the ring was one long and one short. It was a party line. My aunt Fern was the operator. Lucky you to have an old phone like that.
Love looking at all your pictures, wonder sometimes what we did before we could have all this fun on-line.
