My day seem to be filled with visiting the nursing home and paying bills. No fun--either one. I made a rhyme!!

I stopped in at a little shop in Conway that has been there for a long time but I had never been there. So..here are my finds---a sweet creamer and sugar bowl--made in Austria. An old Black Beauty book--Do you see it says 'in words of one syllable' moth-er dri-ver. It is that way all through the book. It says it is for the Little Folks before they become Grown-ups. Cute.

My mother gave me the beautiful handmade pine needle and rafia basket.

Sweet finds! I love the Austrian creamer and sugar. And Black Beauty -- one of my favorites as a child -- and so charming with the syllables broken out like that. Doesn't it please you so much to adopt these treasures? So much better than shopping retail, I think. My heart races whenever I go thrifting.
