Mother's quilt squares
teeny tiny but sittable divan
wonderful hutch
My mother and friend looking at the waterfront. So I went to visit my Mother yesterday and took bunches of pictures. My amazing Mother.
She is busy with another quilt and knitting baby blankets--lots of greatgrands. She likes Laurel Burch patterns and uses her animals to make her own patterns for quilts. She bought a sweet small couch? settee?divan? at an estate sale and at the thrift bought this hutch and with it all for one price (100 dollars) were a large corner cabinet, a night stand and a coffee table. What luck although her pocketbook is bigger than mine.

My goodness, your Mom is something alright! Love all the things she got. Isn't that hutch the cutest thing, and an itty bitty something to sit on, and making a quilt at her age. How is her eyesite? Must still be pretty good to do all the hand work that she is doing. That is a nice friend she has in the picture, he's not heavy he's my brother? oh yea that was an old song.

Love your mom's quilt blocks. Did she do them or find them in a thrift store? Are you going to set them together for a quilt?
