- I live in the small farming community of Stanwood, Washington. I worked eighteen years as a lunch lady at an elementary school. During that time, I also worked at a plant nursery. The last three years, I was annual buyer and greenhouse supervisor at Emery's Garden. I have four daughters, and four grandchildren, two horses (Ambush and Kelly), two miniature horses (Tuffy and Bucky), and I have a Jack-Russell Terrier named Sassy. I like to container garden, too. Since my birthday is on the cusp, I prefer the Scorpio sign. I was given that sign at birth. I feel I cannot upset my Karma.

What I think is your Mother is amazing! Not crazy about the floor, but sure am crazy that your Mom is doing this. Most people her age don't know where the kitchen is.

Well that's just plain awesome! Good for her! We all need a little color in our lives and honestly, I would never have been creative enough to put it on the floor. Good for her!
