How I know Spring is on its way. I do have Crocus coming up but this pic tells it all.
I found this little dandelion trying its hardest to push itself out of the snow. A lesson for all of us.

- I live in the small farming community of Stanwood, Washington. I worked eighteen years as a lunch lady at an elementary school. During that time, I also worked at a plant nursery. The last three years, I was annual buyer and greenhouse supervisor at Emery's Garden. I have four daughters, and four grandchildren, two horses (Ambush and Kelly), two miniature horses (Tuffy and Bucky), and I have a Jack-Russell Terrier named Sassy. I like to container garden, too. Since my birthday is on the cusp, I prefer the Scorpio sign. I was given that sign at birth. I feel I cannot upset my Karma.

You really have the neatest birds out your way! Great pictures! I can't believe you have a dandelion try to come up! We are about 4 months away from that!
