Don't you just love those old pictures? If they are offered to you at some point, do not turn them down. Remember you had a little problem with not taking the linnens when offered?
I LOVE the picture of your grandmother! She looks saucy! You could scan those too, and they would come out great. And of course, you can have copies made.
Where is Stanwood? We visited Washington and Oregon this summer for the first time. We went to Rainier, then over to the Olympic Peninsula and came down past Quinault and then on into Oregon. Loved it! We plan on coming back when we get the money to do it again.
I live in the small farming community of Stanwood, Washington. I worked eighteen years as a lunch lady at an elementary school. During that time, I also worked at a plant nursery. The last three years, I was annual buyer and greenhouse supervisor at Emery's Garden. I have four daughters, and four grandchildren, two horses (Ambush and Kelly), two miniature horses (Tuffy and Bucky), and I have a Jack-Russell Terrier named Sassy. I like to container garden, too. Since my birthday is on the cusp, I prefer the Scorpio sign. I was given that sign at birth. I feel I cannot upset my Karma.
