I received a large surprise package today. It was so exciting. It was from Janice--Miss Bee Haven--as part of the thrift shopping swap. It was full of goodies. A sweet pourer (I love pourers) with pink roses, A pair of cups with matching trivets, a cookbook first copy righted in 1955, a pretty round tin with herbs, a purple purse photo holder and a pretty card. And then to add to the surprise Janice added some personal souvenirs of hers. Isn't she just too sweet. A racing winner and a VAN HALEN backstage pass and it looks like it is signed by Sammy hagar.

- I live in the small farming community of Stanwood, Washington. I worked eighteen years as a lunch lady at an elementary school. During that time, I also worked at a plant nursery. The last three years, I was annual buyer and greenhouse supervisor at Emery's Garden. I have four daughters, and four grandchildren, two horses (Ambush and Kelly), two miniature horses (Tuffy and Bucky), and I have a Jack-Russell Terrier named Sassy. I like to container garden, too. Since my birthday is on the cusp, I prefer the Scorpio sign. I was given that sign at birth. I feel I cannot upset my Karma.
