Small amphitheater

Causland Memorial Park is an interesting park in Anacortes, Washington. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and was built between 1919 & 1921. It was built by volunteers on land donated by the railroad and under the supervision of John Baptiste Lepage (1857-19390) a French Canadian artist and architect. It is one city block sq. and surrounded by a low serpentine wall entirely constructed of colored pebbles and rock. Like a mosaic. A new addition is in the center of the park is a memorial to the Veterans of World War 11 and the Vietnam War.

Very cool! Thank you for sharing your neck of the woods. I love it. It is really neat to be able to see things like this; things I've never heard of.
History Rocks! :-)
And it's wonderful to get to know you.
